Windows95.com One of the best places to find good freeware and shareware programs for Windows 95. This site is not run by Microsoft. FractInt 19.6 This DOS-based fractal application is just about as full-featured as they come. It's also completely free. Picture Publisher 7.0 This graphics program is part of Micrografx's ABC Graphics Suite, and I find it much easier to use than the "standard" graphics app, Photoshop. It also happens to be less expensive than Photoshop. Kai's Power Tools 3.0 Anyone working with graphics really needs to have these, even if it is tempting to go overboard with them. (Yes, I've been guilty of that myself.) |

Spanky Fractal Database This is an extensive collection of fractal images and information from just about everywhere. If you're looking for fractal stuff, this is a good place to start. The Synth Art Exhibition This is a collection of art done by a friend of mine in the Netherlands. A lot of the art is fractal-based, but it's more "art" than "fractal". If you only visit one fractal gallery, make it this one. Paul Carlson's Fractal Gallery There are quite a few pictures in this gallery, many created with customized software Paul Carlson wrote himself. Jean-Pierre Louvet's Fractals If you're tired of plain, ordinary fractals, and want to see something a little wilder, visit this gallery. Jean-Pierre seems to prefer the strange and unexpected side of mathematics. Paul Derbyshire's Fractals Home of the Nova fractal family, a nifty variation of a simple fractal type that produces surprisingly complicated and attractive shapes. |

Rush Limbaugh No Boundaries Collection Okay, Rush may be a controversial personality - but he has some really spiffy ties in his collection, and if you want to look good, you should probably check them out. The Right Side of the Web If you subscribe to liberal philosophy, then I wouldn't recommend visiting this site unless you want ulcers. If you're conservative, though, you might actually enjoy this. |
